Summer Support from Super Sponsors

The summer months have been busy for Sullivan’s Heroes, with new applicants applying for support from the charity, plus various events and activities taking place.

The Forest Row Orchestra Summer Concert proved to be very popular, as did the Jewellery and Gifts on sale and ‘Sully’s Bar’ Beer Tent at the Turners Hill Village Fete – all of which raised funds for Sullivan’s Heroes to provide
grants for the children the charity is helping, thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters.

Funds have also been kindly raised for the individual children through their own fundraising via a variety of donations and events. Team William’s £40,000 target saw a boost with the help of Bamber Bridge Fire Station’s Car Wash and Board24’s Charity Match funding; whilst Dylan’s Bedroom and Bathroom project also received some much appreciated Match Funding from LV= who raised a fantastic amount at their suppliers Treasure Hunt event.

Help for the Extension for Ella came in the form of funds from Howdens, and for Vinnie’s new bedroom and wetroom project from both Family Action and Hospital Saturday Fund.

Meanwhile Reuben and his family are delighted to have reached their £25,000 target to build Room4Reuben – with support from
Hospitality Action, the Rotary Club of Shoreham and Southwick, plus The Kelsey Trust.

We are excited that building work for A Space 4 Jakey is now well underway with generous donations towards his £60,000 target from both Legal and General and the Carpenter Box Charitable Foundation – whilst his family continue to raise the final funds required for completion of his extension.

We’re looking forward to the Dormansland Horse and Dog Show in September, at which Sullivan’s Heroes is one of the four charities to kindly receive support from the event.

Plus, if you’re shopping online you can support Sullivan’s Heroes for free through both Easyfundraising; and AmazonSmile.

Please do get in touch if you have any fundraising events, activities and ideas you’d like to share with us; or if you would like to apply for a grant or to fundraise through Sullivan’s Heroes.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is greatly appreciated.
