Our thanks to Wayne Carlisle and his employer Board24 for their recent generous fundraising for Team William.

Wayne bravely undertook the Blackpool to Preston Walk earlier in the year, raising a fantastic £648.00 for William’s home adaptations project – and Board24 have kindly matched Wayne’s fundraising to add another £648.00 into William’s fund.

These funds raised will be used towards the £40,000 required to build an extension on William’s family bungalow to accommodate the four-year old now and as he grows up. The project will provide William with a dedicated wheelchair accessible bedroom and wetroom, with a ceiling mounted hoist to move William safely and comfortably.

Adjoining the main living area of the home, this new space will enable William to easily be included in all aspects of family life; whilst wheelchair access throughout the home and to outside will allow William to use areas which are currently impossible for him to get to.

Thanks to everyone involved in funding these vital adaptations so William can enjoy his family home and live there safely and with dignity.
