Thank you so much to everyone at Hospitality Action for their recent generous grant of £2,500.00 towards ‘Ruby’s Big Build’.

These funds will be used to meet the £25,000 shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project – to provide Ruby with a new downstairs bedroom and wetroom converted from the existing garage, plus safe access to the garden for the 6-year-old.

The project will enable Ruby’s daily care and medical needs to be met in a more manageable way, whilst ensuring she can get around her home independently and safely. The outside space will be made level and wheelchair accessible so Ruby is able to use the garden independently as she grows older.

Having worked in the hospitality industry, Ruby’s parents were delighted to receive this grant from Hospitality Action to bring about these life-changing differences for Ruby.
