A sizzling Summer ahead

There’s been lots going on recently in the Sullivan’s Heroes world. We have more applicants for support taking our total to date to 33 children – the most recent of these being Jack and his family who are fundraising to make ‘Space4Jack’.

Summer fundraising events have got underway with the first of Mid Sussex District Council’s hosted events – David Battie’s ‘Potty about Pots’ evening – raising funds for Sullivan’s Heroes; plus a forthcoming ‘An Evening with Glenn Miller and Friends’ performed by The ConChord Big Band promises to be most enjoyable.

Challenges have been taking place with the Jubilee River Swim to raise funds for ‘Room4Reuben’; Abi & Ben undertaking their 'Rust2Rome' adventure in their fantastically wrapped Sully monster wagon; and another intrepid adventurer, Lee Buller, will generously be taking on a fundraising challenge later in the year when he climbs the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro for Sullivan’s Heroes.

We have a schedule of our popular Jewellery & Gift Sales throughout the summer too – so do come and visit us to grab a bargain or a few!

Our thanks to all involved for recent corporate support from Steve Jenkins, who carried out the building works for Joe’s adaptations; from Coulsdon Manor Rotary Club; and from Haslar Marina.

As well as supporting Sullivan’s Heroes through online purchases via Easyfundraising; you can now do so through AmazonSmile – where Amazon will donate a portion of each purchase to us. What better reason to shop!

Please do get in touch if you have any fundraising events, activities and ideas you’d like to share with us; or if you would like to apply for a grant or to fundraise through Sullivan’s Heroes.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is greatly appreciated.
