Major grant support from The Society of the Holy Child Jesus

All at Sullivan’s Heroes, and the families of the children being supported by the charity, are extremely grateful for recent major grant funding of £25,000 received from The Society of the Holy Child Jesus.

These funds will go an enormous way towards meeting the targets of many of the families, seeking funds above the Disabled Facilities Grants awarded for their child’s home adaptations project.

The funds will enable adaptations such as house extensions, wet rooms, ceiling hoists, wheelchair lifts, internal wheelchair accessible living facilities plus internal and external wheelchair ramps and access points to meet the children’s needs.

'Courageous Cory’s Big Build' is boosted thanks to the funding

These funds are vital in helping the families create the optimal environment for the disabled children to live safely and with dignity at home, improving their quality of life within their home environment.

“We are delighted to be able to support Sullivan’s Heroes and the families they work with. We hope our grant will help some families make the necessary changes to help support their disabled children at home.” Natalie Ledger, Grants Administrator, The Society of the Holy Child Jesus
