Fifties and counting …

We’ve been busy enrolling new applicants for support here at Sullivan’s Heroes. This takes our total children supported to date over the fifty mark – with an impressive fifty-three children who we’ve been able to help and provide grants to, thanks to your generous support.

Other projects are about to get underway – with both Ella’s and Vinnie’s adaptations commencing building works this month whilst their families continue to raise the final funds required to complete the projects.

There’s lots going on over the forthcoming summer months for the charity. The Forest Row Orchestra will generously be hosting their Summer Concert in aid of Sullivan’s Heroes, whilst Dormansland Horse and Dog Show have kindly selected us as one of their four charities to receive support from their event in September.

We’ll be out and about ourselves too with our ever-popular Jewellery and Gifts Sale at the Turners Hill Village Fete – so come along to grab your bargains and enjoy the fun!

We’ve been very grateful for recent support from a number of avenues including Haslar Marina, who’s most enjoyable Berth Holders Party raised a fantastic amount for us. The Chalk Cliff Trust also kindly donated funds to allow us to help a number of children, whilst ‘Team William’ have seen their target boosted to a fantastic 66% with monies
added from Waitrose Regional Distribution Centre, Eric Wright Charitable Trust, Wetherspoon and Lostock Hall Community Primary School.

Please do get in touch if you have any fundraising events, activities and ideas you’d like to share with us; or if you would like to apply for a grant or to fundraise through Sullivan’s Heroes.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is greatly appreciated.
