We were delighted to receive generous support recently from The Licensed Trade Charity – with a £1,500 grant towards ‘Eleni’s little big build’ home adaptations.

These funds, donated towards the project to adapt Eleni’s home – who’s mother previously worked in the licensed trade industry – will reduce the £20,000 shortfall required above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project.

The extensive building works will extend the family home via a single storey extension to provide a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, with storage space and a bath to meet 3-year-old Eleni’s needs. 

The new spaces and equipment will enable Eleni’s daily care and medical needs to be met in a more manageable way, so she can continue to be cared for safely and with dignity in her own home. Our thanks to all involved in making this positive and life-changing difference for Eleni.
