‘Room4Reuben’ nears completion with help from The Hospital Saturday Fund

Our thanks to The Hospital Saturday Fund for their recent generous £1,200 grant towards creating ‘Room4Reuben’. These funds will allow non-slip flooring to be fitted in Reuben’s newly built accessible and adapted home extension, so he can continue to be cared for safely and with dignity in his own home.

Reuben’s team of fundraisers have been busy, raising £20,000 to date of the £25,000 target required to extend and adapt the family home’s living space – creating a downstairs bedroom with accessible shower room and safe garden access for Reuben.

After 12 months of works the project is on track for completion at the end of March, with the fixtures, fittings and floorings now being installed.

We are very excited to bring news of the finished project once all the funds have been raised and Reuben’s new space can be completed.
