Our heartfelt thanks to The North West Police Benevolent Fund ‘The Ben Fund’ for their recent generous donation of £2,000 to ‘Sophie’s Independence’.

The Ben Fund donated the funds towards the adaptations project for Sophie, whose father has worked for Merseyside Police for the past 17 years.

The funds will be used towards providing Sophie with a new wheelchair accessible bedroom, wet room, through floor-lift and increased living space to meet her daily care and medical needs in a more manageable way and safer way.

The funds are greatly appreciated and will make a number of life-changing differences to Sophie’s life.
