The Ben Fund is an independent charity dedicated to supporting and caring for the police from recruitment into retirement. We were delighted to receive support recently from them towards ‘Sophie’s Independence’.

The Ben Fund supports officers, both serving and retired, who are experiencing mental, physical or hardship difficulties. The Ben Fund gives its members access to the very best therapeutic services as well as a range of other benefits such as grants and loans if you’re struggling financially.

They can fund equipment for anyone suffering serious illness or injury and you may also be entitled to free convalescence at their Lake District lodges. They also offer free hire of mobility aids.
