Our sincere gratitude to everyone at MKM Building Supplies (Bolton) for their recent generous support towards ‘Building Thomas a Future in Bromley Cross’.
The donation, in the form of 70 sheets of plasterboard, will be used in the building works as part of the adaptations being put in place to meet Thomas’ needs.
The project involves creating a basement extension with an accessible ground floor bedroom and wet room for 9-year-old Thomas, allowing to continue to care for him as he gets bigger and heavier, whilst laying the way for independent living once Thomas reaches adulthood.
These donated items will greatly reduce the funds required for Thomas’ building works, which have seen Thomas’ family fundraising towards the £95,000 shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project.
“With our budget being hit by rising costs, this really is a massive boost to Tom’s adaptations.” Thomas’ Dad
