Our thanks once again this month to Independence at Home, who’s £600 grant towards a new boiler system at Filip’s house will ensure a homecoming from hospital for 7-year-old Filip.
‘Filip’s journey to come back home’ project has seen the extension of Filip’s home to create a ground floor bedroom and wet room with specialist equipment and ceiling track hoists, to aid Filip’s mobility once home.
The donation of these funds towards a new boiler enables sufficient heating throughout the home and in the new spaces created for Filip – allowing for him to be discharged, after two lengthy years in hospital, to his newly-adapted home.
