Our thanks to The Hospital Saturday Fund for their recent generous £500 grants towards two projects being supported by Sullivan’s Heroes.

One of these projects is ‘Myk’s accessible home’ project – where the funds will be used towards the remaining shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant and local authority funding awarded to create a ground floor bedroom and bathroom including specialist bath, plus wheelchair access into and around the ground floor of the house to meet Myk’s requirements.

Increased lounge space will also be created and ceiling hoists installed to aid Myk’s physiotherapy and mobility needs, and enable Myk to access different parts of his home.
