Our thanks to The Hospital Saturday Fund for their recent generous £1,000 grant towards ‘Ahmed's Big Build’.

These funds will be used as part of the project to provide 12-year-old Ahmed with a new downstairs bedroom, wetroom and living space, with safe garden access to meet his needs – requiring £30,000 to be raised above the Disabled Facilities Grant and discretionary funding awarded for the project.

Works are well underway on the adaptations which will enable Ahmed’s daily care and medical needs to be met in a more manageable way, so he can continue to be cared for safely and with dignity in his own home and fully participate in all aspects of his family life.
