Hits Radio Cash for Kids helps ‘Building Thomas a Future in Bromley Cross’

We’re delighted to have received support from Hits Radio Cash for Kids recently with a generous £1,500 donation towards ‘Building Thomas a Future in Bromley Cross’.

Thomas and his family are fundraising towards the £50,000 shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project to create a basement extension – allowing to continue to care for Thomas as he gets bigger and heavier, whilst laying the way for independent living once Thomas reaches adulthood.

These specific funds from Hits Radio Cash for Kids will be used to provide Thomas with a wheelchair lift to be able to access his garden and will make a positive and lasting difference to Thomas’ life and independence.

“After I spoke with Thomas’ Dad I could see how passionate he was about helping Thomas and his dedication and commitment was a perfect example of what we believe in here at Hits Radio Cash for Kids. We exist to support families and children like Thomas and I was so pleased that our local board also saw the difference that a grant would make. We are absolutely thrilled to be able to help in a small way and hope to see Thomas thriving despite his challenges thanks to the support from his incredible family.” Jessica Rigby, Charity Manager, Hits Radio Cash for Kids.
