Duchy of Lancaster Merseyside

The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund is a registered charity set up in 1993 with the consent of Queen Elizabeth II to support local good causes and community initiatives located primarily within the County Palatine.

Funds from the Benevolent Fund are allocated each year to the Lieutenancy offices of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

The Lord-Lieutenant leads the Merseyside Lieutenancy in proactively supporting people, groups, communities, businesses and organisations that live, work, and volunteer in the region, and works to support those that wish to celebrate Merseyside’s rich culture, heritage, and diversity.
