Festive Fundraising Fun

As the festive season approaches, we’ve lots of news to tell you about!

Many new projects are underway, one of these being for Katy, who’s family need to raise £55,000 to build ‘Katy’s new bedroom and bathroom' to provide her with her own downstairs bedroom and bathroom, external access and wider doorways.

Other projects have recently seen boosts to their funds with Team William’s local Balshaw’s Church of England High School kindly fundraising for them; whilst Dylan’s Bedroom and Bathroom project is nearer to the £8,000 required thanks to a generous £5,000 donation from Enterprise Holdings.

A number of sporting fundraisers have been busy out and about generously undertaking challenges for us – with Team Broderick completing their outdoor swim; ‘Let’s Do It Group’ carrying out events and we are delighted to announce a London Marathon 2020 runner in the shape of Ben Lippiett, who will be taking on the mighty challenge in his first ever marathon!

We’ve also been very grateful to receive corporate donations from HeiDor’s Fetch and LJS Aviation, which will go a long way to providing grants for the children being supported. Festive fundraisers are also busy gearing up for Christmas – with Worth School kindly supporting us in their Festive Giving season, whilst Sharpthorne Carol Party entertains audiences with their carol-singing.

Our new Ebay for Charity Shop is up and running, where you might find the perfect gifts for friends, family and yourself! – with 100% of the purchase cost providing grants for the disabled children Sullivan’s Heroes is supporting.

Though if sending cards or gifts this Christmas is all too much to think about … here’s a little idea how you can Send your LOVE this Christmas instead!

Please do get in touch if you have any fundraising events, activities and ideas you’d like to share with us; or if you would like to apply for a grant or to fundraise through Sullivan’s Heroes.

Thank you for your ongoing support, it is greatly appreciated.
