DTD Charity supports ‘Myk’s accessible home project’

Our thanks to DTD Charity (Tishie Yong Foundation) for their recent generous £5,000 pledge of funds towards ‘Myk’s accessible home project’.

These funds will be used towards the remaining shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant and local authority funding awarded to create a ground floor bedroom and bathroom including specialist bath, plus
wheelchair access into and around the ground floor of Myk’s home to meet his requirements.

Our gratitude to all involved at DTD Charity for providing this funding to enable a lasting improvement to Myk’s life.

“DTD Charity are delighted to have been able to help with an award towards Myk’s home adaptations. We aim to help fund specialist equipment for severely disabled people across the Midlands, South & West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. We are funded by the staff of Dusk till Dawn Nottingham, who contribute 1% of their salary, with the management doubling the amount.”
