A is a lovely little boy who likes to explore, be cheeky and laugh - lots. In his young life he has faced lots of challenges, he's had a tough time but faces everything with a smile. He is fiercely independent and refuses to back away from a challenge, he loves to learn and enjoys being around others.
Overall A is a happy wee boy who strives for independence within the security he has at home and school, this is something we must help him maintain and develop as he gets older.
A was born with a rare condition - Aicardi - Goutieres Syndrome ( AGS) this is a progressive condition
Because of the condition he needs 24hr care provided by someone who knows him well. He is wheelchair dependant and these are some of the ways it affects him.
