Libby is a happy bright girl who doesn't let anything get in her way and she makes her dad and myself incredibly proud every single day. Libby is a very determined individual and tries her hardest to maintain her independence where possible. Libby is very much into swimming and using physio in the pool to help maintain any muscle strength she may have for as long as possible. Libby has also just started horse riding lessons for the disabled which will also help maintain her core muscle strength.

Unfortunately Libby's future is uncertain and her condition can cause her health to deteriorate and leave her with breathing problems, difficuties with eating, possible upper body weakness as well as being wheelchair bound. As parents we want to assure she is cared for and provided with everything she requires to live as much of a normal life as possible.
