Thank you so much to Dormansland Carnival for their generous donation from funds raised at July's event.

The Committee have very kindly donated £250 of the proceeds from this year's event to Sullivan’s Heroes, which will be used towards home adaptations for local disabled children.

The Carnival, with this year's theme being 'Heroes & Villains', kicked off with a procession of colourful floats, followed by numerous entertainments including Tug-of-War, children's races, side shows, stalls, refreshment tents and not forgetting the ever popular dog show with a category for everyone from the prettiest/handsomest to the waggiest tail!

Thank you to everyone who ensured the success of the Carnival, and to the Committee for their generous support – it is greatly appreciated.
