Requiring £45,000 to meet the shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant and top-up funding awarded to extend the family home – creating a downstairs bedroom and an accessible kitchen to meet Margot’s needs – the £5,000 pledged from Teaching Staff Trust will provide the stepping stone to get the initial stages of Margot’s project underway, whilst further funds are continued to be raised by the family.
