We are delighted to have received support from Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust with a generous donation of £2,000 towards ‘Ruby’s Big Build’.

These funds will be used to meet the shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project, to provide 6-year-old Ruby with a new downstairs bedroom and wetroom, plus safe garden access. 

This specific donation will be used towards funding a new boiler to sufficiently heat the new spaces being created for Ruby’s care within her home.

Work is already well underway on Ruby’s project – with the new rooms being built taking shape daily – so it won’t be long before her daily care and medical needs can be met in a more manageable way, increasing her safety and dignity in her own home.
