Our sincere gratitude to Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust for their recent generous donation of £2,248 towards ‘Iman’s home adaptation’.
These funds kindly donated will be used towards the £40,000 shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project to extend and adapt 16-year-old Iman’s family home – providing a fully wheelchair accessible ground floor bedroom and wetroom – plus access throughout the home and externally to meet her care and medical needs.

These specific funds will provide Iman with a Bidet Toilet which will not be funded under the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded – enabling Iman to operate the toilet with the aid of touch sensor control, allowing her a greater degree of independence when toileting.
Our thanks to all involved for this donation which will make a positive and lasting difference to Iman’s life, well-being and independence as she gets older.
