Fife Today feature ‘Keira’s BIG Build’

We were delighted to be featured in ‘Fife Today’ regarding ExxonMobil’s generous £5,000 donation to Fife resident Keira – to be used towards ‘Keira’s BIG Build’ adaptations project.

The generous donation – resulting from excellent safety standards during ExxonMobil’s recent £140m plant upgrade at Mossmorran, Fife – will be used to fund a new communication device for Keira, enabling her to control elements of lights, music and TV in her new room and helping her independence to grow, amongst other benefits.

Maarten ten Doesschate, Project Manager, who oversaw the planned upgrade, said:

“We had no lost time work injuries and it was great to see such commitment to safety from everyone, which was reflected in the amount raised for charity.”

Martin Burrell, Plant Manager, added:

“We have a long tradition of supporting good causes in our local community and we are delighted that it will help these three very worthy charities.”
