Huge thanks to the team at FASTSIGNS Crawley who recently produced this fantastic banner promoting ‘Jacob’s Journey for home adaptions’ – which is proudly hanging outside Jacob's house.

Jacob’s banner was a welcome sight for his parents Sophie and Iain, who walked an amazing 32 miles from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), London, to their home in Crawley, to raise funds for Jacob’s project.

Jacob and his family require £45,000 to be raised above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded to Jacob – to create a fully accessible downstairs bedroom, wetroom and ramp access to the front of Jacob’s home to meet the 5-year old’s needs. Having been a regular visitor to GOSH since he was born, Jacob’s parents felt this would be a fitting challenge for them to undertake.

Sophie and Iain battled en route with ankle pain, aches and A LOT of blisters! – but thanks to their continued determination and huge support from friends, family and the local community, raised in excess of an amazing £3,500 for their enormous achievement.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in supporting Team Jacob. This heartwarming video of the walk sums up ‘Jacob’s Journey for home adaptions’.
