We were delighted to attend the annual Mid Sussex District Council Chairman's Civic Service on Sunday evening at our local church, St. Leonard's in Turners Hill.

The charity was generously supported at the service as part of Councillor Bruce Forbes' commitment, supporting Sullivan's Heroes as his nominated charity throughout his service as Chairman of Mid Sussex District Council.

The lovely festive service of carols, readings, music and singing from Crawley Down Ladies Choir, soloist Heidi Acraman, plus the children of Turners Hill School was much enjoyed by all the congregation. The church looked magnificent, adorned with numerous beautiful Christmas trees, each one colourfully decorated by an organisation from the village as part of the church’s annual Christmas Tree Festival.

Our sincere thanks to Councillor Forbes and the team at Mid Sussex District Council, and all the charity’s supporters, for the ongoing support and fundraising to provide grants for home adaptations for disabled children.
