Cash for Kids supports ‘Iman’s home adaptations’

Our sincere thanks to Cash For Kids who recently donated a generous £1,700 towards ‘Iman’s home adaptation’ project.

Iman and her family are fundraising towards the £28,000 shortfall above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project to extend and adapt the family home to provide a fully wheelchair accessible ground floor bedroom and wetroom for Iman, plus access throughout the home and externally to meet her care and medical needs.

These specific funds from Cash for Kids will be used to provide Iman with UPVC doors with wheelchair rollover threshold to enable Iman to have wheelchair access through her home. The funds are greatly appreciated and will make a positive and lasting difference to Iman’s life and wellbeing.

“The Cash for Kids team, and our Board of Trustees were moved by Iman’s story. Our granting process was suspended in 2020, but we were pleased to be able to hold a grant-round and specifically help towards the adaptations at Iman’s home. We recognised the impact these adaptations will have on Iman’s day-to-day life.” Lauren Procter, Charity Fundraising Executive, Cash for Kids.
