Our huge congratulations and sincere thanks to Ben Lippiett, who did Sullivan’s Heroes and all his supporters proud yesterday, running the mighty London Marathon 2021 in phenomenal timing!

After two years of ardous training for this epic marathon – postponed last year due to Covid, when Ben, undeterred, ran the Clarendon Marathon in its place for his ‘Virtual London Marathon 2020’ – Ben at last was able to run the streets of London yesterday, completing the 26.2 mile course in an amazing 3 hours 37 minutes and 43 seconds! 

Not only was Ben’s timing awesome – but also the funds raised for Sullivan’s Heroes of £3,711.20.

We are extremely grateful to Ben and all his wonderful supporters who have raised these funds for Sullivan’s Heroes to provide financial grants for disabled children, requiring home adaptations to meet their care and health needs, so they can continue to be cared for at home, safely and with dignity.

We wish Ben some well-earned relaxation time now, to rest those weary feet after his fantastic feat!
