We are excited here at Sullivan’s Heroes that Ben Lippiett is on track for tackling the mighty London Marathon 2021 in October to raise funds for the charity!
Postponed from April last year, the London Marathon will go ahead this year at the later date of Sunday 3rd October 2021.
No longer a stranger to marathons – as Ben most generously ran the Clarendon Marathon last year as part of the Virtual London Marathon, to raise funds and awareness for Sullivan’s Heroes – Ben has donned his running shoes once again for the gruelling training schedule for the 26-mile marathon, to make it a double marathon challenge for Sullivan’s Heroes!
All monies raised will be used by the charity to provide financial grants for disabled children, requiring home adaptations to meet their care and health requirements, so they can continue to be cared for at home, safely and with dignity.
We wish Ben well for his training over the coming months and look forward to seeing him in action on the day!
