Bank of Scotland Foundation supports ‘Mylo’s new downstairs bedroom’

Our thanks to Bank of Scotland Foundation for their recent generous donation of £500 to Sullivan’s Heroes as part of Lloyds Banking Group Matched Giving Scheme – matching the fundraising kindly carried out by Scottish Widows’ employee Kenny Meek.

The works for ‘Mylo’s new downstairs bedroom’, for which £40,000 is required above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for the project, will extend and adapt the family home to provide a downstairs accessible ground floor bedroom and wetroom for Mylo, enabling the 3-year-old to be safe within his living space.

Works have recently got underway for the project – with Mylo even lending a helping hand to proceedings himself!

Our thanks to all involved, from Sullivan’s Heroes together with Mylo and his family – this funding support will make a huge difference to Mylo’s life and well-being.

"The Bank of Scotland Foundation Matched Giving Scheme is designed to encourage colleagues from Lloyds Banking Group to get involved in the voluntary sector and to help fundraise or give their time to charities. I am delighted that following the recent endeavours of Kenny Meek, Sullivan’s Heroes has been awarded a total of £500.00. Congratulations on your award."
