Our sincere thanks to the 23 Foundation together with the Community Foundation for Merseyside for boosting the target for ‘Sophie’s Independence’ project recently with a generous £5,000 donation.

This kindly donated funding has come from Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation, managed by the Community Foundation for Merseyside.

These funds will go a long way towards meeting the £25,000 shortfall between the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded to Sophie and the full costs of the project to provide Sophie with a new wheelchair accessible bedroom, wet room, through floor-lift and increased living space to meet her daily care and medical needs in a safer and more manageable way.

We are greatly appreciative of this donation which will bring about a number of positive and life-changing differences for Sophie.
