‘West Yorkshire Project’ is boosted by Independence at Home

Our thanks to Independence at Home, for their recent £600 grant towards the shortfall of funds required for the ‘West Yorkshire Project’ home adaptations.

The project involves constructing a purpose-built, ground-floor bedroom and a specialised sensory room extension to provide a safe, accessible and therapeutic environment for the daily care and development of a young boy who has complex physical and sensory needs.

These funds will contribute towards the £8,000 shortfall needed to cover the cost of the necessary works, in addition to the council funding already awarded. The works are already well underway, and these additional funds will help ensure the project can be completed as planned.
