‘Noah's independence and dignity’ is aided by Hospital Saturday Fund

Our thanks to The Hospital Saturday Fund for their recent generous £995 grant towards the project to enable ‘Noah's independence and dignity’.

The works will convert the garage at Noah’s home to create a wheelchair accessible ground floor, including downstairs bedroom and wetroom, plus garden access – to gain independence and dignity for the 9-year-old.

Work has recently begun on adapting the home for Noah, including widening doorways and restructuring the ground floor to ensure full wheelchair access throughout both the existing spaces and the new areas to be built. These changes will provide vital benefits, not only for Noah’s current needs but also as he grows, as his parents explain:

“An accessible property will enable Noah to develop and gain life skills that he simply cannot manage at present – ensuring that Noah has a safe and dignified space where he can thrive. He requires a wheelchair accessible ground floor, including downstairs bedroom and wetroom and hopefully also a garden, to gain some independence and to bring him dignity as he grows into double digits.”
