Make Them Smile support children and young people across the UK, up to the age of 18, who are living with a wide range of complex and life-limiting medical conditions. These include, but are not limited to, leukaemia, cerebral palsy, sensory impairments such as deafness and blindness, terminal illnesses and other conditions that significantly impact daily life.

Working closely in partnership with Social Services, schools, Speech and Language Therapists, and a broad range of healthcare professionals the charity ensures that families receive coordinated and meaningful support.

This support may include the provision of specialist disability equipment, respite breaks, educational opportunities and direct assistance to parents and carers.

The charity provides financial support through the purchase of, or grants towards, specialist medical equipment to significantly improve the quality of life for children with complex needs. They also help families with the cost of essential home adaptations, enabling children to live more safely and comfortably within their own homes.
