There’s more than just birthdays to celebrate at ‘Fox & Lili's Home’.
Not only have the twins recently turned seven – but building work is now well underway on adapting the house to better meet their needs, including extending and reconfiguring the ground floor of the family home.
Two wheelchair-accessible bedrooms have been created for the twins, along with a shared bathroom. Tracking and hoisting systems have been installed throughout, and level access is being provided across the ground floor, including direct access from each bedroom to the garden.
The project was recently generously aided by the Florence Nightingale Aid In Sickness Trust – with a £2,000 donation towards the installation of non-slip flooring throughout these newly created bedroom and bathroom areas, which will significantly improve mobility and independence for the twins.
