Our sincere thanks to Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust for their generous support towards providing ‘An accessible home for Finlay’.

The adaptation works – which require £50,000 to be raised above the council grants awarded for the project – will extend the family home, creating a bedroom and wet room that can be accessed independently by the teenager, together with a kitchen adapted for a wheelchair user, plus access created through the ground floor and to the garden with a permanent ramp.

This specific grant of £624.17 kindly donated will be used towards the accessible kitchen equipment being installed in Finlay’s adapted kitchen, enabling Finlay to be as independent as he can be at home.
