Building Thomas a Future in Bromley Cross’ recently received a boost to the £30,000 funds required via a generous £637 donation from Florence Nightingale Aid In Sickness Trust.

The funds will be used to meet the shortfall of the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for Thomas’ home adaptations project, providing Thomas with his own accessible ground floor bedroom and wet room. This specific donation will be used to install non-slip wheelchair accessible Maude Okofloor flooring in Thomas’ new bedroom.

These adaptations will allow Thomas to continue to be cared for safely and with dignity in his own home as he gets bigger and heavier, and will lay the way for independent living once Thomas reaches adulthood.

Our thanks to all involved with this donation, which is greatly appreciated and will make a positive and lasting difference to Thomas’ life.
