Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust provided generous support recently, with a grant towards the project to make provision for an ‘Independent life for Ben’.
The works involve demolishing the garage at Ben’s home to build a ground floor extension, including a wet room with a level access shower, toilet, wall-hung basin and changing table, plus a combined bedroom and safe space.
The £1,368.55 grant kindly donated will be used towards the changing table being installed in Ben’s new wetroom, to greatly aid his independence and safety.
