We were delighted to see ‘Grayson’s Inclusive Home’ project being featured recently in Bedford Today.
Grayson’s Mum Katie and her good friend Vickie plan to cycle a 46-mile route, from their homes near Bedford to Great Ormond Street Hospital on 25th July, to raise essential funds for Grayson’s vital home adaptations project.
Grayson’s Mum and family are fundraising towards the £25,000 required to provide the 6-year old with a downstairs bedroom, wetroom and adaptations throughout the downstairs, to enable Grayson to live life included and with dignity.
Grayson’s sister Lily, who is only 9, is absolutely determined to take part also so for safety reasons she will be cycling her 46 miles locally the following week on 1st August.
Grayson’s Mum Katie states:
“We are desperate now, we need help and support to make these changes, Grayson desperately needs it. Great Ormond Street is where Grayson received his diagnosis and all his treatment since he was 8 weeks old. It only seems fitting for us to ride this journey for him this time!”
