Our sincere thanks to The Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell for their generous organising of an interactive online quiz night recently to support ‘William and his great glass elevator’.

The proceeds from the quiz together with funds kindly donated will provide a fantastic £1,500 towards home adaptations for 5 year old William, to meet the £20,000 funds required above the Disabled Facilities Grant awarded for his project.

The building works will create a new bedroom and bathroom for William, where he can have his complex needs managed safely, plus a through-floor lift to access his new space. 

“The Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell are pleased to announce they will be donating £1,500.00 towards ‘William and his great glass elevator’ from their Charity Fund and the proceeds of a virtual quiz held on Tuesday 23rd February when eighty-nine participants signed up to take part. The winner on the night was based in Yorkshire. The 2nd placed person kindly donated back the prize. Further donations of £60.00 were received from people who were not able to attend on the night.
