We are incredibly proud at Sullivan’s Heroes of our intrepid marathon star Pippa Hannard – who not only braved the hottest London Marathon on record, and battled through painful Achilles injury to complete the course in an amazing time of 6 hours and 17 minutes – but also raised a fantastic amount for disabled children, needing adaptations to their homes to meet their care and health requirements.

Huge congratulations to Pippa for this mammoth challenge, and thank you so much to her for the months of arduous training she has endured, let alone her determination on the marathon day itself. We wish Pippa a relaxing period of well-earned rest and recovery now after her huge achievement.

Thank you also to all Pippa’s generous supporters who raised a fantastic £1,209 for Sullivan’s Heroes, which is boosted to £1,477.50 with the Gift Aid on top. All the funds raised will enable Sullivan’s Heroes to provide financial grants towards vital home disability adaptations for the disabled children the charity supports, and will make a huge difference to their lives.
